Along with Shiite Iran and the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood, “the Press” had a strong hand in the perpetration. Hamas is long-known for playing for publicity. Hamas lives and dies by “civilian” casualty counts — hiding beneath hospitals, schools, apartment buildings and even a major Gaza City hotel. I’ve followed a particular Pakistani, English language, daily newspaper’s website for 22 years, as a fairly reliable source for local news. It’s not been Islamist (ist), but this past year, its Gaza reporting can be summed up as HAMAS AKBAR. It’s now another Bernays-ian torch which will ultimately be of great benefit in bringing about the “Final Solution”.
In that sense, Sinwar did his job, acting as a cutting edge which produced a means for global inflammation.
So the question is: … who (outside journalism) wanted that inflammation? I can give several answers, and they too should be literally and violently exterminated.
