(A Huxleyan “Island”, if the reviews I’ve read are correct regarding that book.) … You’ll kindly forgive my dark humor in saying that Schäfer–like others from the Third Reich–was obviously given freedom to Röhm through Latin America. … Also, it’s interesting that he got that from both Allende’s anarcho-syndicalists and Chile’s hyper-anti-communist military. I’d be inclined to think that Allende’s class-warfare-fixated MIR would “nationalize” the Colonia in a heartbeat, as they did thousands of farms and factories.
