The Islamic State (IS) laid claim, in two recent issues of its newsletter, Al-Naba, to three recent attacks in Russia.

In the 131st edition of Al-Naba, released on 11 May 2018, IS wrote on page 3:

Three Russian police were injured and a Chechen mausoleum was blown up in the Caucasus

One of the soldiers of the caliphate (Sunday, 20 Shaban [6 May 2018]) attacked elements of the Russian crusader police in the centre of the country, which led to the injury of several of them, bi fadlallah [or bi fadl Allah; “by the grace of God”].

Amaq Agency reported, quoting a security source, that one of the soldiers of the Islamic State shot at elements of the Crusader police in the city of Nizhny Novgorod in central Russia, which led to the injury of three of them, alhamdulillah [all praise is due to God].

In another area, al-mafariz al-amniya [a security detachment] blew up a Sufi shrine on Tuesday (22 Shaban [8 May 2018]) in the Buynaksk area of central Dagestan, alhamdulillah.

The sources in the field said that the Islamic State soldiers blew up the shrine of the mystic Sufi, Said Afandi al-Chirkawi, in a security operation in the village of Chirkey in the Buynaksk area of central Dagestan, bi fadlallah.

Recall that the occupant of this mausoleum, al-Chirkawi, was killed by a Russian Muslim sister several years ago [on 28 August 2012], when she detonated her explosive [suicide] belt in his home, and that al-Chirkawi was the largest Taghut of Sufism in Dagestan, an elder in the Shafi’i and Naqshbandi ways, God forbid.

In the 130th edition of Al-Naba, released on 4 May 2018, IS wrote on page 7:

One of the soldiers of the caliphate struck two Russian policemen in the south of the country

A soldier of the Islamic State two Russian policemen in southern Russia on Tuesday 15 Shaban [1 May 2018], injuring two of them, all praise.

According to Amaq News Agency, quoting a security source, one of the soldiers of the caliphate attacked a Russian policeman with a knife in the city of Neftekamsk, in the south of the country, which led to the injury of two of them, bi fadlallah.

It is noteworthy that such operations are being repeated in these areas and the soldiers of the caliphate are targeting elements of the crusader Russian army, its police, and al-Nasara al-muharibin [the Christian warriors]. …
