His speech begins with “…truly binding upon Him [set down] in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an.”
Seeing “in the Torah” made me wonder, was/is there something, after all, to Crone & Cook’s book, Hagarism? (I have a copy. I’ve read it.) If the Fifth Caliph tries to ride a donkey into Jerusalem, I’ll be convinced that he’s read it too.
